Youth Ministry

In our Kids Ministry, our mission is to help kids find their way to God, connect with others, and contribute to changing the world. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and crafts.

Sunday School

Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids from toddler through seventh grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.

Serving The Community

Youth groups at churches play a vital role in serving their communities. They provide young people with opportunities to give back and make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Not only do they make a difference in the lives of others, but they also gain valuable life skills and form lasting friendships.

Summer Vacation Bible School

Every summer VBS is hosted at each of the church campuses. It is a fun filled week of activities, singing, and just having fun with friends.

Baptism

At Bethany & Pilgrim Lutheran, we believe in faith by grace and therefore encourage the baptism of infants. Baptism is a sacrament in which promises are made on behalf of the person being baptized. When the baptized is an infant, a sponsor or Godparent is appointed to speak on their behalf.  To ensure that parents, Godparents, and the baptized understand the significance of baptism and the promises made, we require participation in catechism courses with the pastor. These courses, held over two meetings, will cover the theology of baptism and include both discussion and practical elements.

Confirmation

Our Confirmation journey is a two-year program that starts in the fall of 7th grade and continues through the fall of 9th grade. During this time, participants will dive into the Bible and explore its relevance to their daily lives, as well as gain a deeper understanding of Martin Luther's teachings in the Small Catechism. Furthermore, there will be numerous opportunities for fellowship and service events.
